What people have said about the Cuisinart DLC-10S Pro Classic in their reviews:

We received this food processor as a wedding gift in August 2007. It quickly went into everyday use, and made countless batches of pizza and bread dough, hummus, dips, sauces, etc.

Blair Tanner:

I searched for 3 months for the ideal processor: price comparison, quality construction, features, power, included accessories, performance, noise. For the price, this processor is heads above the dozens of others I either physically examined or compared notes on.

I am giving this product 5 stars because it works excellent for the price. But I do need to wear ear plugs if I am going to use it for more than a couple of seconds. If you are looking for something more quiet, this is not for you. However, if you are looking to save money and do a great job and can deal with the noise, then this is for you.

Vinita Ullal:

I really like my new food processor. THe last one I had was over 10 years old and it just died. Never thought I’d get another one that I liked as much but I was wrong. This is excellent.

3) Cuisinart DLC-2009CHB Prep 9-Cup Food Processor

Another food processor, another increase in cup size. The model that’s third (at the time of writing) in the Amazon bestselling list is the 9-cup version of the Cuisinart DLC-2009CHB, but there is an 11-cup version available too.

This food processor comes with a stainless-steel slicing disc, shredding disc, chopping/mixing blade and a dough blade.

Like the Cuisinart DLC-10S Pro Classic it also includes a spatula, recipe/instructions book and a DVD demonstrating how to use the machine.

The feed tube is large enough for whole vegetables and all parts are dishwasher-safe.

S. Albertini “Speedwell”:

The work bowl has a HUGE opening that greatly reduces pre-prep knife time. However, you are not stuck using the big opening all the time. The pusher has a smaller round “sub-pusher” in it that provides a smaller opening for holding long vegetables upright or for adding liquids while in motion.

A. Geisler:

I’m realy impressed with the functions of this food processor. I use all the accesories all the time and the one thing I really love is how quite the motor is.

*Price – $149.00

Renee Gleason:

A more accurate rating for this food processor, in my opinion, would be 4 and a half stars. It is truly a great machine. Sadly, this is my third food processor in 4 years, as I had two horrible experiences with other brands, before I finally bit the bullet and spent the cash on this one. I wish I had done that in the first place!

Angel Perkins:

I love this machine! This is the second KitchenAid food processor I’ve owned, the last one having been purchased about 15 years ago. It’s obvious that it’s been somewhat redesigned since then, but I’m happy with most of the changes, and the 3 best features-quiet operation, capacity, and sheer power-remain.I love that I can shred 2 blocks.

5) Hamilton Beach 70610 500-Watt Food Processor

The Hamilton Beach 70610 Food Processor is the fifth on this list has a 500-watt processor that can be jacked-up to 525-watts when there is a large batch of food to process. It has a 10-cup food bowl and a reversible slicing/shredding disc and a stainless-steel chopping blade.

There is an oversized feed chute and the bowl, lid and blades are all dishwasher-safe.

Stacy Krueger:

This is an excellent food processor. It has two speeds, plus pulse control so it allows for better precision when chopping. Some processors turn everything to puree, but with this one you have better control over how finely things are chopped. The grater/slicer disk produces very uniform pieces and is really fast! While running it’s not too loud either. I highly recommend this processor, especially considering the reasonable price.

Raymond Seneres:

This is excellent with every processing task, and I compared it to both my KitchenAid and Braun models. The motor is very powerful, the design is simple, and all the parts are very easy to clean.

*Price – $39.88
