Creamy Carrots Recipe

(serves 4 as a side dish)
Ingredients

1/2 kilo / 1lb baby carrots (sliced)
4 tbsps single cream (or milk)
50gms low-fat butter
salt and ground black pepper

Method

1. This delicious carrot recipe is perfect as a side dish for your main meal. Firstly, preheat your oven to 200C / gas 6.

2. Next melt the butter in a small saucepan and toss the sliced carrots in it until they are well coated.

3. Place the carrots in an ovenproof covered dish, add the single cream or milk and season with salt and ground pepper. Place in centre of oven for around 25-30 minutes. Serve with your main meal.
