Alternative – Greek Style Meatballs Recipe
Anyone got any idea on a recipe for butterbean or vegetable homemade soups with a cypriot twist?
I made these last night and I have to say they were spot on. Many thanks for the recipe, I’m going to work my way through the others now!
Can someone let me have a nice sauce for beef meatballs?
Therese – I put these into a bolognaise sauce, which I make with tomato purée, 1 tin of chopped tomatoes, about 250ml beef stock, Italian dried herbs and a bit of salt and pepper. Just bang it all in a pan and simmer for 40-50 minutes with the meatballs in there (though I prefer to quickly fry the meatballs and add them in once they’re done). The more purée you add the thicker the sauce. I usually use one of them small little tins you get.
